Pot roast chicken
I was given a cockerel last week by someone who had some surplus birds. It came ready slaughtered but it needed to be plucked and gutted. We pot roasted it on Sunday. We had it with cauliflower cheese. The sauce was made from our own goats milk. Sadly, the cauliflower was not one we grew ourselves. It came from a supermarket.
