We grow our own food in a suburban village in the North East of England. Follow us as we keep up the battle to be self-sufficient.

The eggs laid by 2 of our hens over the last few days were not an aberration. Yesterday, there were 4 eggs waiting to be collected. It seems as though our little egg enterprise is picking up again. What a nice way to end a rather poor year. We have a small number of people who were buying eggs from us regularly until October when the chickens stopped laying. If the egg-laying improvements contine, we will be able to get back to them and start selling again.
