goose egg scrambled

goose egg scrambled Jul 17 2

A few weeks ago, we swapped a dozen quail eggs for one laid by a goose. I got round to using it today. It was rather nice scrambled for breakfast.

How would you compare the taste between the two (quail and goose)? Is the goose egg similar to a duck's?

I used to have ducks and geese and found their eggs to taste much the same.

I have spotted no appreciable difference in the taste. Duck eggs however are good in baking as they produce a moister texture.

Do you pickle eggs to preserve them for the winter?
