We grow our own food in a suburban village in the North East of England. Follow us as we keep up the battle to be self-sufficient.
How would you compare the taste between the two (quail and goose)? Is the goose egg similar to a duck's?
I used to have ducks and geese and found their eggs to taste much the same.
I have spotted no appreciable difference in the taste. Duck eggs however are good in baking as they produce a moister texture.
Do you pickle eggs to preserve them for the winter?
