Cherry picking
The cherries were late this year and nowhere near as good as last year's crop. I picked some at Beggarswood last week, just down the road from where we live. We will use some to make fruit liqueur and will have a go at bottling the rest.
I miss cherries, I used to collect them where I lived before as many people did not realise they were edible, but here in West Sussex there just doesn't seem to be any. Are these foraged or on your allotment?
