Pigeons for plucking
I found this sack of pigeons hanging on my allotment gate yesterday. My job for this afternoon is to pluck them and strip off the breast meat. Not the pleasantest of jobs for a Sunday afternoon!

I think it's funny how you get surprise gifts of game at your allotment. Do you know who it's from or it's a mystery?

It's from a neighbouring allotment holder who shoots on various farms in the area. I've paid him 3 jars of preserves for the pigeons.
