Rhubarb pie
Despite the lack of rain, we have a bumper rhubarb crop. Time for a rhubarb pie.

Rhubarb is my favorite pie filling, with or without strawberries. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State) where the climate is a lot like England, and Rhubarb keeps growing forever. You can't kill it. I loved being able to find it year after year without fail. Now I'm living in the South and can't find rhubarb anywhere. You've just reminded me of how much I miss it.
