First frost
It's November and we had our first frost of the autumn this morning. It won't last long. There is not a cloud in the sky so any frost will be burnt off the moment it's in direct sunlight.

The lack of cloud-cover overnight was a cause for the frost! We've had about 3 frosts here by now in the early mornings, one an actual 'scrape the windshield' morning. I look up and see a Clear, star-filled night on that last dog-walk, and think, 'yep, gonna be a cold one!'. Still, that frost is good for rosehips, (here) American persimmons, things that needs a frost to be better to harvest...
