We still have lots of plums in the freezers so 3kg of them went into making plum and apple jam earlier this week. I added them to 2 kg of chopped apples, boiled them up together and simmered them so the apples could cook in the plum juice. 5kg of sugar was then added. End result: 18 jars of jam.

Good idea. I have an overloaded plum tree which will be ripe in December (Australia).
Slight variations make it all a bit more interesting. Am going to make plum chutney as well using apples.
I am just starting on my bee journey. Have two hives but no bees yet. Am looking into that great Aussie invention of Flow Hives to use as honey supers.
