The bones from the chicken we had on Sunday were boiled up to make stock for soup. Into the soup pan went the stock, followed by the liquid in which the chicken was pot roasted, some potatoes and cabbage and steamed nettles from the freezer. We need the space in the freezer so it was more a case of anything goes as long as it was a sensible mix of ingredients.
The end result was, admittedly, a slightly bizarre mix but it was okay, even if I don't count it in my list of favourite meals!
